Planned by King Leopold in the late 19th century, this park holds imposing...
AutoWorld Museum、Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and of Military History (Army Museum)、Temple of Human Passions 同 Arts and History Museum。而我就选择参观 Army Museum。喜欢看博物馆的朋友, 呢度大把野睇.
When the sun happens to shine, the Cinquantenaire Park is the place to go for a run, read a book or simply relax. One of my favourite places in Brussels!
Fantastic place to visit for a stroll on a sunny day. The park was very clean and the archway is an impressive bit of architecture.
Parc du Cinquantenaire was initially constructed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Belgian independence, the jubilee park. Commissioned by King Leopold II, Cinquantenaire Park's U-shaped design structure is dominated by its triumphal arch constructed in 1905. A very large park, Cinquantenaire is beautiful, stunning with its sheer size. Cinquantenaire occupants include the Royal Military Museum, the Cinquantenaire Museum, AutoMuseum, the Museum of Human Passions and the Great Mosque of Brussels. With so many diverse occupying museums, Cinquantenaire will keep visitors interested for quite some time. We could have stayed for much longer as there is so much to see and discover. Highly recommended.
We came across this park on our way to the Military Museum. It's a park one would expect from an "Imperial" capital - grandeous buildings - pathways in straight formations - big statue etc etc. Although it is pleasant enough I suspect much of it's charm radiates from the fact that it sits amid some of the blandest cityscapes in Europe ! Nice to escape from the faceless Eurocratic Dullswater which borders it i would expect - and compared with the blandness creeping up to the park it is a breath of fresh air.
Well maintained park, a perfect place for relaxing or running, especialy on business trip. It is a strange and funny thing that you can see and hear parrots there :)
Right amidst the hubbub of European Government and other offices, there is a this gorgeous park, where one can sit and relax or go for a walk or a run.Highly recommended
I passed by the park on my way to the museum. It was huge. Though there is not much to see in the park except the cute and handsome horse patrols.
During a sunny day this parc is amazing to have lunch in. Lots of families stroll arounf here with their kids. There are friends playing football and having lunch together. The atmosphere is relaxing and a great place to have a coffee and a sandwich in.
